Marty Hamby is a seasoned executive with over 26 years of experience leading and scaling SaaS and service-based companies in the payroll and human capital management (HCM) industry. He specializes in partnering with high-growth businesses to accelerate expansion, improve operational performance, and execute targeted M&A strategies.

Marty is the Founder and former Co-CEO of CAVU HCM, where he led the company through significant growth and a successful exit to IRIS Software Group in 2023. Prior to that, he co-founded Apex HCM, guiding the company through rapid expansion and a successful sale to private equity firm Serent Capital. Earlier in his career, Marty played a pivotal role at TimePlus Payroll, helping lead the company’s growth and eventual majority sale to a private equity group.

Known for his expertise in strategic leadership, M&A execution, and building high-performing teams, Marty brings a strong focus on sustainable growth, financial performance, and corporate governance. He holds a degree from the University of Georgia and is actively involved in several industry associations and advisory roles.
